Part one of a two-part series called "The God of Love and Justice" from Worship and Executive Pastor Joshua Skogerboe. There are many descriptions of God in the Bible, and some of them seem to be contradictory. Many places in the Bible tells us we should "fear God," while He tells us repeatedly throughout His Word, "do not be afraid." How can God Almighty be a Righteous Judge and Kind of Kings and at the same time, invite us to call Him "Daddy"? These two weeks unpack that tug-of-war: the duality of God's character. Today, the God of Justice... who is to be feared. And our only hope of escaping His wrath as we stand before Him.
